Instructions and Guidelines for the Student Paper Competition
Submission deadline: April 30, 2021
The AIS Educator Association (AISEA) is pleased to announce the Student Paper Competition at this year’s AIS Educator’s conference! This competition is intended to recognize outstanding work by graduate or undergraduate students of accounting information systems and is funded through a generous donation by the AISEA Founders, Jack and Maye Stewart.
The student who submits the winning paper will receive a $1,000 cash award upon presenting the paper at the AIS Educator’s conference.
Papers eligible for this year’s conference must have been written between March 1, 2020 and March 1, 2021. Paper topics may include but are not limited to:
|Emerging IT concepts and/or tools in AIS||Internet of Things|
|AIS educational research||Organization and management of IS/IT|
|Control and auditing technologies||Systems implementation issues|
|Financial reporting systems||IT risk management|
|Blockchain and AIS||AI and AIS|
|General AIS frameworks||Web assurance|
Notification to students chosen to participate will be made by June 15, 2021.
The paper should follow the submission style guidelines available at AIS Educator Association. Select the Conference Info, Submission, and Submission Style Guidelines links. Use a file name that reflects the name of the paper rather than the author. Remove other identifiers of the author or school from the document.
Student Papers and Cases should be emailed along with any questions to Professor Susan Cockrell.
